Urinary Excretion of Plutonium in Mayak Workers During and After Ca-Dtpa Administration

Abstract: Chelation therapy is sometimes used after potential exposures to plutonium to increase urinary excretion of the radionuclide to improve the accuracy of bioassay measurements.
