Objective: The legal complexity associated with consumer protection, technological disparities, and regulatory misalignment at national and international levels creates significant challenges. In Indonesia, despite having laws regulating electronic transactions, implementation faces constraints, particularly concerning legal uncertainty and a lack of consumer legal awareness. Theoretical Framework: Preventive efforts include measures such as regulating quality and safety standards for products, monitoring business activities, and providing comprehensive education and information to consumers. These measures are designed to prevent problems or losses for consumers from arising at the outset of transactions. Method: This research employs a normative legal research method, focusing on the analysis of legislation, jurisprudence, and international conventions related to cross-border electronic transactions. Legislative analysis is used to explore relevant legal aspects, conceptual approaches aid in understanding key concepts, and a comparative approach is applied to analyze legal systems and consumer protection practices. Results: The research's conclusion provides a foundation for developing holistic strategies to ensure the fair, secure, and accountable sustainability of e-commerce growth at both the national and international levels. Conclusion/Implication: In the era of globalization, cross-border electronic transactions have become a catalyst for economic growth and global connectivity. However, the legal complexity associated with consumer protection, technological disparities, and regulatory misalignment at national and international levels creates significant challenges.

Misuse and leakage of personal data has become a concern in Indonesian society today. Facts show that in 2022 Indonesia has been ranked number 3 with the most cases of personal data leakage in the world. A total of 12.74 million personal data has been leaked in the implementation of fintech lending services in Indonesia. This research aims to provide an explanation of the legal analysis resulting from leaks of personal data and misuse of personal data in the implementation of fintech lending services in Indonesia. The results of the analysis from research data processing are that this personal data has been regulated in Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection which was ratified in 2022 to be precise on October 17 by the President of the Republic of Indonesia as an Urgency Law. Law Number 27 of 2022 clearly contains legal protection efforts for the importance of personal data, sanctions and also legal protection provided which aims to prevent misuse of personal data.

In this era of cyber crimes, data security is an important aspect that needs special attention from an organization. This is reinforced by the ratification of Law Number 27 of 2022 on personal data security. The National Zakat Amil Institute (LAZNAS) Yayasan Dana Sosial al Falah (YDSF) as an institution with a legal entity and having data on more than 100,000 donors and partners, it also has an obligation to protect the personal data of donors and partners. The focus of this research is to evaluate and audit information technology at the LAZNAS YDSF, especially regarding the security aspect of information technology. Evaluations and audits were carried out using the ISO 27001 framework as a standardization of information technology security at the international level. In this study, information technology audits were conducted using quantitative methods. The assessment was carried out on seven main clauses that are priorities for the LAZNAS YDSF based on management priorities: compliance clauses, risk management, policies, assets, physical and environmental management, access control, and incident management. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed to all the LAZNAS YDSF managers and employees. Fifty-five respondents, ranging from management to staff, were involved in filling out the questionnaire, ranging from management to staff. Based on the recapitulation of answers from respondents, it was found that the risk management and access control clauses had good results, with scores of 2,727 and 2,796. The compliance and incident management clauses have scores of 2.381 and 2.53, respectively; therefore, improvement efforts need to be made. By evaluating and auditing information technology that refers to the ISO 27001 standard, it is hoped that LAZNAS YDSF can protect and maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information, and manage and control information security risks.
