Unterschiede in der Färbbarkeit der Purkinje-Zellen

Abstract: Regarding the different stainability when using the Luxol fast blue method, two kinds of Purkinje cells of the rat are described: Luxol-positive and Luxol-negative cells. Since, by this method, phospholipids are demonstrated, the author suggests the prospective varying functional condition of these cells. Different tinction of Purkinje cells has been confirmed also by other methods (gallocyanin-chromalaun, thionine, toluidine blue, lithium-haematoxylin, chromalaun-haematoxylin-phloxine and acid phosphatase) in… Show more

“…The striking appearance of long upright primary dendrites was best seen in the 'dark' (Scharrer, 1938;Tewari & Bourne, 1963;Meitner, 1977) Purkinje cells. In spite of limited field of view in one micron sections, the frequent encounter of Purkinje cells possessing lengthy primary dendrites before branching suggests that the phenomenon was prevalent.…”
