The article focuses on the strategic analysis of the demand for satellite communications services in the telecommunications market, degree of development of the problem, object, topic, initial assumption and goal of the research. A study of the telecommunications market by its key segments was carried out. The classification of key segments was chosen based on the criterion of the list’s minimalism and not allowing double accounting of revenue, which is possible with B2B and then B2C chains. The most rapidly developing segment of the market, which is mobile communications, has been identified. The problems and prospects of the development of such market segments as mobile communications, fixed voice telephony, broadband Internet access and television are studied. The revenue’s distribution of the global telecommunications market by regions is considered. The change in the cost of mobile Internet in the countries of the world and the correlation of mobile communication’s price with the cost of signal delivery lines to base stations are determined. The introduction coefficient of broadband Internet access provided by such wired lines as an optical fiber communication line, twisted pair and power supply lines of the network is considered.

The main problem of the functioning of the organizational, technical and technological structures of the enterprise is the insufficient formalization of business processes, which, in turn, is based on the uncertainty of business process tasks influence level to the whole process, which complicates its further effective development. In this article, the structuring of such elements is based on the approach of forming the system of design and technological preparation of production (DTPP) at the enterprise, and the business processes are the subject of the study. The objective of the study is to improve the DTPP control system within the framework of research and development (R&D) with further deeper formalization for the implementation of an automated DTPP control system. To achieve this objective, tasks for assessing the business processes of DTPP control have been identified, as well as for analyzing the effectiveness of the business processes tasks for DTPP control. To achieve the target goals and solve the tasks, the research plan includes such stages as the formation of a schedule of research, identifying the necessary resources and their sources, identifying the direct executors and bringing the plans to them, fixing the results of planning in the form of a project. The study is based on the use of expert assessment method. To obtain the correct result from two groups of expert assessments, individual assessments have been used, which are based on the use of the individual experts’ opinions who are specialists of the enterprise, and functionally independent from each other. The implementation of the individual assessments formation is based on an individual expert survey in the form of an interview with an analysis of expert assessments.

An Investigation of the Influence of Economic Growth on Taxes in Lithuania

The level of economic interstate competition has been growing significantly in recent decades. Countries are constantly trying to apply lower tax rates to attract large businesses to their territory. They are also trying to improve the efficiency of tax collection on their area of jurisdiction. The paper examines how economic growth affects Lithuania’s tax collections. Based on quarterly data of the 2002–2022 period, ARDL models for the main types of taxes were considered. We find that for all types of taxes, the models have the same structure, which allows comparing the impact of gross domestic product on tax collections both in the short term and in the long term. Analysis showed that the largest reserves are in the corporate sector, where the growth in tax revenues exceeds gross domestic product growth by 115%. The long-term effect for general taxes is almost 19% higher than the growth of the tax base, that is, the Lithuanian economy as a whole has a tendency for a reduction of the shadow economy, which means that there are significant opportunities for further growth.
