“…In another study the most common age group affected was between 40-49 years corresponding with our findings 13,14 . Another study in a tertiary care hospital to study histopathological spectrum of gallbladder disease also found chronic cholecystitis to be the most frequent post surgically established histopathologic diagnosis after cholelithiasis 15,16 . A study with large sample size of 1278 samples of gallbladder studied for histopathological proven cholecystitis also found that almost 98% of the samples had chronic cholecystitis on histopathologic reports 17,18 .…”

“…From that date, incisional nasolacrimal sac biopsy was recommended as a routine in DCR surgery by many surgeons, irrespective of appearance or risk factors [ [13] , [14] , [15] , [16] ]. The occurrence of lacrimal system neoplasms in various age groups from 20 to 90 years was reported, and is invasive to adjacent tissues and has a high recurrence rate; it is commonly misdiagnosed as an obstruction or inflammation then accidently detected during pathology examination which is the most accurate investigation for challenging neoplastic lesions [ [16] , [17] , [18] , [19] , [20] ].…”
