A learner's capacity to acquire and process information in a learning environment is their "learning style". One of the essential applications of learning styles is that teachers may easily incorporate them into their instructional strategies. Students learn in various ways; amongst the rest, the visual, auditory, and kinaesthetic (VAK) are the most prominent. This endeavour aims to identify secondary students' preferred sensory modalities for learning and analyse the association between academic achievement and learning style subscales. The study included 100 students selected using simple random sampling from Karnataka's class 8th and 9th grades secondary school students. Findings reveal that the predominant sensory modality of learning was aural and more prevalent than visual and kinaesthetic learning (34%). The relationship between learning style and academic success is statistically significant (p< 0.05). The main effects of the three variables - visual, auditory and kinaesthetic are also substantial on academic achievement. The female students were more dominant in the blend of all (Collaborative) learning styles.

Education about CSR will shape students' understanding and perceptions of CSR, so that higher education, especially accounting majors must determine appropriate learning methods so that students understand and have positive perceptions about CSR. The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the case-based learning method to form positive perceptions about CSR for accounting students when online learning is carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was conducted at the accounting department of PTS X, a private university in Surabaya.This study used a mixed method between qualitative analysis which was obtained the data through interviews, document analysis and observation and was strengthened by the results of descriptive statistics whose data were obtained through distributing questionnaires to 67 students. The results of this study indicate that the case study-based learning method is still effective in forming positive perceptions of accounting students about CSR even though learning is carried out online during pandemic. Accounting students have a good understanding of the responsibilities that must be carried out by companies, not only economic responsibilities but also legal responsibility, ethical responsibility, stewardship principle, company employee-relationship, and social responsibility. The results of this study also show that students perceive that CSR is beneficial for companies. This research was conducted with one shot study, so it does not measure the difference between before and after study CSR. Future research is expected to be carried out using a longitudinal model or a cross-sectional model so that can measure the differences in perceptions between before and after study CSR.

The learning styles of students vary both among individuals and across different disciplines they choose to study. In higher education, academic discipline appears to be a key factor influencing students’ distinctive learning styles. This study, which aims to determine the dominant learning styles and models of talented pre-service teachers, was designed with the survey model. The study group research consisted of 1019 volunteer pre-service teachers who continued their education in Physical Education and Sports, Music, and Arts & Craft Teaching departments. In the study, the VARK Learning Style Inventory was used as a data collection tool; students were asked to answer questions in a digital environment through Google Forms. According to the research results, kinesthetic style is the dominant learning preference for pre-service teachers in the visual arts and sports sciences, and both kinesthetic and aural styles are the dominant learning preferences for pre-service teachers in music education. Although talented pre-service teachers tend to learn predominantly kinesthetic and aural styles when evaluated, 61.2% of pre-service teachers prefer to learn with a Multiple Learning Model, which covers the entire instructional diversity, rather than sticking to just one learning style.
