Ultrastructure of Liver Metastases from Colon Adenocarcinomas

Abstract: Liver metastases from colon adenocarcinoma cells exhibited features of primary tumor site such as microvilli with filamentous cores and long rootlets, glycocalyceal bodies, and classical desmosomes. Nevertheless, some cell surfaces showed scarce and short microvilli.
