Ultrafast relaxation of solvated organic molecules studied by XUV time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy

Abstract: Time-resolved photoelectron spectropscopy (TRPES) allows tracking ultrafast molecular relaxtion through conical intersections. Here, the implementaion of TRPES for solvated organic molecules is presented and applied to relaxation of aminoazobenzenes as well as several bio-mimetic photoactuators.
