The study was conducted to identify phenotypic characteristics of Lombok Muscovy ducks. A total of 100 adult male and 100 adult female Muscovy ducks. The research location was determined by purposive random sampling, while the determination of farmers and Muscovy ducks was done incidentally. Observations were made on each Muscovy duck by observing the color, body weight and size of body parts. The body size data were tabulated, averaged, and then analyzed descriptively; meanwhile, the plumage color data were calculated in frequency. To find the relation between size of body parts and body weight, data were analyzed using simple regression. The study found that the male Muscovy ducks had two plumage characteristics, consisting of white and black-white, both shared the same frequencies, while in the female Muscovy ducks, white color was more dominant compared to the black-white color. The colors of the beak were divided into two i.e., black with a white color in the middle and reddish-white with pink colors in the middle. The size of Lombok Muscovy ducks was rather small in comparison with the other Muscovy ducks. The size of male duck was larger than that of the female.

Purpose : This research aims to study the technical characteristics of Muscovy duck in Ciayumajakuning. Research Method : The study uses a survey method and applies a purposive sampling to take samples by observing 22 farmers. Data analysis used in this study is a descriptive exploratory method. Findings : The results show that 95.5% of pens are in postal shape; 50% of the pen material is made from bamboo, wood, and roof tile while the other 50% is made from bamboo and roof tile; 72.7% of observed farmers have size of pens of 1-100; 95.5% of feed is in pasta-shaped and 4.5% is in flour; the frequency of 2 times feeding is 86.4%; mostly-used (54.5%) feed ingredient is in the form of Aking rice bran and 18.2% use pur bran; 9.1% farmers apply traditional raising management, 81.8% is semiintensive, and 9.1% is intensive; lastly, sex ratio of 1: 1 reaches 18.2%. Conclusion that the technical characteristics of Muscovy duck in Ciayumajakuning have not yet been standardized. It is expected that the farmers, relevant agencies, and other related parties can overcome the problem and seek for better and optimal management. Limitations : Research includes feed, pen, and raising management of Muscovy Duck. Value : The basis for establishing national standards for Muscovy Duck production and development.

Muscovy duck in Indonesia has good potential to be developed as a meat producer, but currently its production and performance are still relatively low. additional feed is needed to increase it, such as cellulase enzymes, L-carnitine, and lemuru fish oil. where this combination, enzymes can increase nutrient digestibility, fish oil which is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and L-carnitine as a metabolic facilitator needed to oxidize long chain fatty acids. This research was conducted to investigate the effect of supplementing cellulase, carnitine and fish oil in feed on performance, EPA and DHA composition of Muscovy duck meat. In total, 120 Muscovy ducks in grower period were allocated to 4 dietary treatments with 5 replicates of 6 ducks. The treatments consisted of T0 = basal ration, T1 = T0 supplemented with 0.1% cellulase, T2 = T1 supplemented with L-carnitine 40 ppm, and T3 = T2 supplemented with 4% lemuru fish oil. The dietary treatments were fed for 90 days. The results of study showed that the effects of supplementing fish oil and L-carnitine in rations containing cellulase enzyme have a significant value (P<0.01) on the performance (feed consumption, daily body weight gain, feed conversion and IOFC) of male Muscovy duck grower phase and have a significant value (P<0.01) on EPA and DHA level in Muscovy duck meat. The supplementation can decrease feed consumption, meanwhile it increase daily body weight gain, improve feed conversion ratio, increase IOFC value, EPA and DHA level.
