“…[1] Interessanterweise nahmen die Autoren an, dass sie die monomere Spezies, C 6 H 5 ÀN=PÀCl, isoliert hatten, die sie "Phosphazobenzolchlorid" nannten. Sie spekulierten aber bereits über die Existenz des Dimers, von dem wir heute wissen, dass es die stabile Form darstellt.…”

“…X-ray diffraction data were collected using a CAD-4 diffractometer (MoKa radiation, A = 0.70926 Ä) equipped with a graphite mono chromator. 1,3-diph en yl-l ,3,2 k3,4 -diazadiphosphetidine Trifluoroethanol (Fluka) (3.2 g, 32 mmol) and triethylamine (3.3 g, 33 mmol) were added dropwise at 25 °C in an atmosphere of dry N2 to a stirred solu tion of l a (R = Ph, X = Cl) [7,9] Crystals for the X-ray diffraction study were ob tained by crystallising the compound from light pe troleum ether (b.p. 60-80 °C) within one day.…”

“…We have determined the X-ray crystal structure of [PhNP(OCH2CF? )]2, formed exclusively as its lowfield' isomer in the reaction of la (R = Ph, X = Cl) [7,9] with trifluoroethanol in the presence of tri ethylamine. The compound has proven to be the isomer with the trans configuration of the trifluoroethoxy groups (see below for X-ray structure).…”

“…[1] Ever since then their reactivity has been extensively explored. [2][3][4] The chemistry of their heavy analogues, arsenic, antimony, and bismuth, is much less explored.…”
