Summary: Differentiation of arthrospores in one strain of Trichophyton mentagrophytes is induced on agar medium and human hair by increased tension of carbon dioxide (8%) in the atmosphere. These changes occur at the temperatures of 31°C and 37°C. In nitrogen enriched environment (by 8%) arthospores develop only at 37°C. Arthrosporegenesis was not induced by the given gas tension in 6 strains of T. mentagrophytes. Zusammenfassung: Differenzierung von Arthrosporen wurde bei einem Trichophyton mentagrophytes Stamm durch die erhöhte CO2‐Tension (8%) in der Atmosphäre sowie auf Agarplatten als audi auf menschlichen Haaren induziert. Dies verläuft bei 31°C und 37°C. In einer Urn welt mit Zugabe von 8% Stickstof f bildeten sich die Arthrosporen nur bei 37°C. Bei sechs Trichophyton mentagrophytes Stämmen induzierte die angefuhrte Gas‐Spannung keine Arthrosporenbildung.
