Type of Delivery, Time of Initial Breastfeeding, and Skin-to-Skin Contact of Pregnant Women Participating in Childbirth Preparation Education

Abstract

Bu çalışma gebe eğitim okuluna katılmış ve eğitim almış gebelerin doğum şekli, ilk emzirme zamanı ve ten tene temas uygulamalarını değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipte olan araştırma, İstanbul ilinde Anadolu yakasında bulunan bir eğitim ve araştırma hastanesinin gebe eğitim merkezinde 01.08.2013-01.08.2015 tarihleri içerisinde gebe eğitim okulunda doğuma hazırlık eğitimine katılmış olup eğitimi tamamlayan tüm gebeler içerisinden basit rastgele sayılar tablosu kullanılarak seçilen 180 katılımcıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Verilerin toplanmasında literatür doğrultusunda araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen 59 sorudan oluşan Gebe Tanılama Formu kullanılmış olup veriler telefon görüşmesi yoluyla toplanmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmaya toplam 180 kişi katılmış olup katılımcıların yaşı minimum 19 maksimum 43 iken yaş ortalaması 30±0.2'dir. Araştırmaya katılan kadınların %45.6'sı epizyotomili vajinal doğum, %5'i doğal doğum ve %30'u genel anestezi ile sezaryen doğum yapmıştır. Doğum yeri ve doğum şekli arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur (p=0.000). Doğum şekli ile ilk emzirme zamanı ve emzirme durumu arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunamamıştır (p=0.878). Sonuç: Doğum öncesi hazırlık eğitiminin ten tene teması talep etme ve uygulama üzerinde etkili olduğu ve doğum şekli ile ilk emzirme zamanı arasında istatiksel olarak anlamalı bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır.

Childbirth Education and Birth Experience: A Focus Group Study

The validity and reliability study of the first-time fathers questionnaire in Turkish
