Information technology in education has triggered a change in “psychology” learning, and dual-line integrated learning will become an important form of learning in the future. The impact of information technology on education has led to changes in psychological learning, and dual-line integrated learning will become a crucial form of learning in the future. Then, based on the FuzzyCDF model of fuzzy set theory, the students’ psychology cognition, learning ability, and knowledge mastery were tested to assess the student’s cognitive level and learning effectiveness of psychology courses. Then, we analyzed the effect of dual-line integration teaching, evaluated the teaching recognition and cognition of students in different grades, and explored in depth the effects of online and offline integration teaching on students’ learning attitude, learning anxiety, self-efficacy, and academic performance. Comparative analysis was used to analyze the impact of psychology course education on students’ mental health. The results showed that the student’s recognition of the dual-line integration learning mode was all above 3.7, the correlation of the online and offline learning mode on the dimensions of students’ learning attitude, self-efficacy, and academic achievement were all between (0.12,0.65), and the negative correlation on students’ learning anxiety. Psychoeducators in colleges and universities can benefit from this study in developing effective teaching strategies and improving the quality of psychology courses for college students.

Exploring the Educational Potential of Online Platforms in Adolescent Physical and Mental Health Promotion

This study is dedicated to evaluating the effectiveness of online platforms in the educational application of adolescent mental health. Using clustering algorithms, C4.5 decision trees, and item-based collaborative filtering techniques, this paper explores strategies for constructing mental health portraits and recommending educational videos. The results show that these techniques enable online platforms to accurately identify students’ mental states and provide customized educational content. In a three-month experiment, the platform effectively enhanced the psychological state of adolescents through mental health education. After use, students’ self-assessed mental health increased by 15\% and showed significant improvement in coping with stress and adapting to new environments. The study shows that the online education platform has a significant facilitating role in the field of adolescent mental health education and can provide effective mental health support for adolescents.

BackgroundMental Health and Wellbeing (MHW) has been attributed to student success in higher education. While the role of institutions of higher education in the MHW of students is generally known, to the knowledge of authors, research about how students and their faculty perceive this role in undergraduate engineering education contexts is limited. PurposeThe purpose of this study was to investigate the role of the institution (i.e., administration and faculty) in providing students with an overall positive experience in the college of engineering as perceived by students and their faculty. Design/MethodThis study reports on the analysis of the semi-structured interview data collected from undergraduate engineering students, and their faculty in the college of engineering at a Western land grant institution of higher education. As part of a larger project related to the MHW of undergraduate engineering students, these data were collected in response to a specific question about the institution's role in providing an overall positive student experience. Thematic Analysis of data collected from 13 interview participants (8 students and 5 faculty members) was conducted. FindingsThematic analysis resulted in three themes from student interviews addressing the need for 1) improvement in first-year student experiences, 2) delivering needed information about students' MHW and academics, and 3) improvement in the hands-on experiences of students. Resultant four themes from faculty interviews addressed: 1) effective faculty-student communication, 2) providing opportunities to increase positive academic and social experiences, 3) cognizance of students' situation, and 4) dissemination of MHWrelated information. ConclusionsInstitutions of higher education play a vital role in the overall positive experiences of engineering undergraduates to support their MHW. While engineering undergraduates and their faculty agree on the need for improved dissemination of information to students, the faculty focus is on MHW-related information and students' desire for information more broadly including information relating to courses and hands-on experiences. Both agree that institutions need to be aware of the MHW need of students.
