“…They work in analog continuous mode and its main function is to continuously tune the bandwidth of the bandpass filter by modifying the value of the coupling series- analog capacitor placed at both the input and the output of the filter. In addition, they can be used to fine de-tune the filter center frequency by an extra correcting element originally placed at the center of the filter and first introduced by the authors in [24].
