Trust and Collaborative Governance

Abstract: This chapter explores the relationship between urban environmental education programs and urban environmental governance in light of the “deliberative turn”—a shift away from “government” toward “governance,” including in urban planning and policy making, and the acceptance of stakeholder participation and dialogue as crucial elements in governance related to complex urban issues.
