Purpose: The objective of this study was to identify relationship between occupational stress and burnout with the mediating role of intention to quit. Theoretical framework: Research focusing on the relationship between occupational stress and burnout with the mediating role of intention to quit among Malaysian firefighters is scarce, highlighting the need for further exploration in this area. There is a need to identify the reaction and negative effects of occupational stress. Design/methodology/approach: A quantitative research design was employed to achieve this, utilizing a cross-sectional survey approach with self-administered questionnaires distributed to firefighters as participants. Burnout was assessed using the Maslach Burnout Inventory - General Survey (MBI-GS), the Sources of Occupational Stress (SOOS-14) scale was used to measure occupational stress and the intention to quit was evaluated using a dedicated scale for measuring intention to quit. 254 questionnaires were collected from firefighters working at the fire station around Melaka, Malaysia. Findings: The direct relationship hypothesis test results show that occupational stress has a positive relationship with the intention to quit but is negatively related to burnout. The intention to quit is positively related to burnout and its dimensions. The findings from the hypothesis tests on the mediating variables confirm the crucial role of the intention to quit as a mediator in the relationship between occupational stress and burnout. Research, Practical & Social implications: We suggest future research to insert coping strategies as prevention to moderate the relationship between occupational stress and intention to quit. Originality/value: This study provides empirical evidence that although occupational stress has no positive relationship with burnout, the intention to quit is a significant mediator that amplifies the impact of prolonged occupational stress on burnout.

Objectives: One of the objectives that prompted us to search for (the legal nature of the negotiations leading to the contract) is to adapt these negotiations so that the legal provisions that apply to them are identified, in addition to knowing the legal nature of the responsibility that arises on the negotiating parties as a result of their breach of the obligations and principles on which the negotiations are based to provide legal protection for the negotiating parties as a result of this breach. Theoretical Framework: The negotiations leading up to the agreement shall be based on the basic principles of good faith, confidentiality, and freedom of contract. The civil liability of negotiators oscillates between tort and contractual. The mutual obligations between the parties to the negotiation are fixed and unified. Method: We followed the descriptive approach in explaining the concept of negotiations leading to the contract, as well as understanding the different phenomena and relationships between the parties to the negotiating relationship leading to the agreement, and the comparative approach was used by comparing the research between Iraqi, French and Egyptian law. Results: The negotiations leading up to the contract are considered a set of preliminary procedures carried out by the negotiating parties that precede the conclusion of the contract in a final manner. Negotiations leading to the agreement are characterized by several characteristics, being a prelude to the contract and voluntary negotiations so that one party does not have authority or restrictions on the other. Originality/ Value: The present research pertains to the legal character of the talks conducted by the parties involved prior to the finalization of the contract. This pertains to the process of engaging in talks that culminate in the establishment of a consensus about fundamental values such as good faith, confidentiality, and freedom of contract.

Entrepreneurship education is often identified as a business learning that focuses on building networks and developing profitable business plans. However, it often neglects to teach the students about how their business can be beneficial and impactful for the surrounding community. Therefore, there is a need to incorporate caring economics into entrepreneurship education to cultivate an interest in becoming a sociopreneur, where sociopreneurs are considered capable of addressing social issues such as poverty. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of incorporating caring economics into entrepreneurship education and fostering a sociopreneurial to the students. The research method employed in this study is quasi-experimental, involving only one group without a control group, consisting of 32 students taking entrepreneurship courses. The instruments used include pretests and post-tests to assess the significance of the effectiveness of the caring economics incorporation. Additionally, a questionnaire is utilized to measure the interest in becoming a sociopreneur. The research findings indicate that based on the significance test of pretests and post-tests, the incorporation of caring economics shows a significant difference in the average understanding of students regarding the importance of caring economics in entrepreneurship education. However, the results regarding the interest in entrepreneurship based on caring economics and the interest in becoming a sociopreneur are still in the moderate category.
