“…The inferior haptic remained firmly affixed to the sclera on application of gentle traction, so the superior haptic was resutured to the sclera using a previously described technique. 26 In brief, the old suture was removed and 1 arm of a 9-0 polypropylene suture (Ethicon) was threaded through the eyelet of the free haptic; then, both arms of the suture were passed, 1 at a time, through the limbal incision, through the pupil, and out through the sclera. The IOL was repositioned in the eye while the suture was tightened.…”
