Abstract: BackgroundTranspterygoid transposition of the temporoparietal fascia flap (TPFF) is a feasible selection for ventral skull base defect (VSBD) reconstruction, but not anterior skull base defect (ASBD) reconstruction, after expanded endoscopic endonasal approach (EEEA).
