Transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy vestibular approach (TOETVA): initial experience in Australia

Abstract: Background Thyroidectomy is traditionally an open procedure. The potential for and unpredictability of patients developing an unsightly anterior neck scar has led many investigators to develop various ‘scarless’ thyroidectomy techniques.
