Translational Self-Diffusion Measurements and Analysis of a Calamitic Smectogen

Abstract: Translational self-diffusion measurements have been performed in the mesophases of the p-hexyloxybenzylidene-p'-fluoroaniline (FAB.OC6) liquid crystal, by means of a static fringe field gradient approach.
