Traffic Engineering Analysis in the Preparation and Reconstruction of Urban Roads

Abstract: The contribution deals with issues of road administration in municipalities in terms of the requirements for engineering renovations of urban communications networks. The goal is to declare an end to the degradation of the quality and service of local roads in cities. The reason is the lack of funding. The engineering analysis should demonstrate the need to make an informed request for reconstruction of local roads in our towns and cities. The aim of this paper is to describe the processes that are related to … Show more

“…At the present stage of development of transport engineering, the system arrangement of the road environment is the main means of ensuring the traffic safety. Approaches to reducing accidents, due to technical means of organizing the traffic, have practically exhausted themselves [1]. At the same time, existing approaches can be improved and supplemented, taking into consideration the human factor in assessing their safety [2].…”

“…As has been said above of the dynamic transport is published in sufficient details in [5 and 32]. A rich discussion is underway around the world, and the decision-making process for this project was made of all the relevant documents that are presented and referred to the various studies and researches published in [24] and [27]. From them, for the Slovak conditions we rather looking for European solutions, which are also in certain specifics adopted for the transport model in Bratislava.…”
