By applying a learning-based approach model Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics in online learning, this study intends to investigate Smart Apps Creator, an interactive multimedia application to promote students' scientific literacy. SAC interactive multimedia is used to learn the media and comprehend scientific concepts. Explaining problems, designing research, carrying them out, analyzing data, evaluating findings, and sharing knowledge are all aspects of scientific literacy. Through the use of this program, STREAM-based learning is being used to improve students' scientific literacy. The results of the students' pretest and posttest were used to collect and analyze the study data in the form of quantitative descriptive analysis. With 80 responses among the students who participated in the survey and five science teachers who had used STREAM-based interactive multimedia, the study tool was delivered to the target population via a WhatsApp group. The findings indicated that the average percentage of scientific literacy with N-Gain in the medium category was 68%, indicating an improvement in student learning as a result of the use of SAC interactive multimedia learning. The study's findings demonstrate that SAC-based STREAM interactive multimedia learning is statistically highly significant and has been demonstrated to be successful in raising students' levels of scientific literacy in online learning during the present epidemic.

Critical Thinking Skills Using Science Technology Religion Engineering Arts and Mathematics (STREAM) Approach on Ecosystem Materials

One of the habits of mind developed in the 21st century is critical thinking skills. This study aims to describe the increase in students' critical thinking skills after learning using the approach of science, technology, religion, engineering, art, and mathematics (STREAM) on ecosystem materials. This research was conducted in one of the public high schools in Bandung Regency with a pre-experiment method whit one group pretest posttest design. The research sample was 35 students who were selected through purposive sampling technique. The instrument used is in the form of test questions that refer to the indicators of critical thinking skills as follows: giving simple explanations, building basic skills, concluding, providing further explanations and developing strategies and tactics. The data analysis technique used is to perform statistical tests. Based on the results of the study, the average value of the N-Gain critical thinking skills of students in classes using the STREAM approach was 67% in the medium category. The highest increase is in the indicator of setting strategy and tactics by 67% in the medium category. The lowest increase is the indicator providing a simple explanation of 49% in the medium category. The results of the study indicate that the STREAM approach can improve students' critical thinking skills.

Pro-contra about concept mastery in STEM learning inspired this study to encounter conceptual change and STEM-project at the same time using R and D at different educational (junior, senior, university) levels. System thinking was chosen as medium to combine conceptual change and STEM learning, as it was found as part of Scientific Literacy in PISA and STEM approach, and as a UNESCO competency for Education for Sustainable Development. Groups of students from different levels of education were involved as research subjects. Certain consideration in choosing the biology topics and pre-posttests (concept mastery and system thinking skills) was administered for all level. Using system thinking oriented learning material it was reported that 7th graders can understand (plant & animal) cells structure well, no misconception for new concepts (prokaryote, plant tissue system), as they experience EDP in STEM-project and produce cell models. Conceptual change in high schools still resulted in misconception when the pre-post tests were taken once, but not for pre-post tests taken in each meeting. Topic choice and specific learning material for STEM based learning with system thinking oriented are very important to have complex system topic that enable to develop three types of system thinking.
