Tracking control for nonlinear time‐delay multiagent systems with input saturation

Abstract: Summary In this paper, the tracking control problem for a class of nonlinear time‐delay multiagent systems with input saturation is considered. The nonlinear dynamics are dominated by strict‐feedback form and satisfy Lipschitz conditions with constant gains. First, it indicated that the tracking control problem is equivalent to a general bound problem of high‐dimensional multivariable systems. Second, an ingenious state transformation is utilized to change the bound problem into the parameter design problem. T… Show more

“…Remark Many practical systems, such as chemical reactors, cold rolling mills, and biological systems can be described in the form of (1). Moreover, the nonlinear functions gi,qxi,1τi,1,xi,2τi,2,,xi,qτi,q considered in this article are more general compared with the functions gi,qxi,1τi,q,xi,2τi,q,,xi,qτi,q with only one common time‐varying state delay in References 38‐42. In addition, compared with correlative works, 25‐28 ϕi,1,ϕi,2,,ϕi,n1 are considered in this article.…”

“…Inspired by the above discussion, the distributed consensus tracking problem of nonlinear MASs with state delays and unknown coefficients is considered in this article. Compared with the previous results, the main contributions of this article are highlighted as follows:Compared with the results, 39‐43 multiple time‐varying state delays are considered in this article and the restrictions on delayed nonlinearities are removed. Then, some appropriate LKFs are constructed to make up for the delayed nonlinearities. Different from the results, 24,25 control coefficients are assumed to be unknown and non‐identical.…”
