Destinasi wisata kampung tulip yang menawarkan daya tarik khas Negeri Belanda merupakan sesuatu yang berbeda dan baru di Kota Bandung. Apalagi progres pengembangan kedepan dengan menawarkan konsep wisata edukasi. Telah menjadi pengetahuan umum bahwa kunci sukses pengembangan destinasi wisata terletak pada persoalan pengemasan daya tarik wisata. Sejauh mana daya tarik wisata yang ditawarkan memiliki keunikan, keindahan, keaslian, dan nilai yang dapat mempengaruhi kepuasan wisatawan sehingga berdampak pada loyalitas pengunjung. Oleh karena itu, buku panduan ini akan menyajikan secara lengkap tentang bagaimana kriteria daya tarik wisata yang berkualitas; motivasi wisatawan mengunjungi daya tarik wisata; para pelaku industri pariwisata; serta konsep pengembangan wisata edukasi yang dapat digunakan untuk pengembangan daya tarik wisata kampung tulip berbassis wisata edukasi

This article summarizes the development of tourism curricula over the past 20 years from the perspective of global tourism. The paper proposes a generic framework for a future tourism curriculum on the basis of a review of literature in the American, British, and other European contexts. The proposed tourism curriculum aims to create well-rounded tourism graduates who view the tourism industry as a fully integrated system, are aware of the importance of connectivity in society, and can make appropriate contributions based on current demands and situations. Once understood and delivered by tourism graduates, the implicit value embedded in the tourism curriculum will inspire respect for this curriculum in higher education. In addition, balance in the development of the tourism industry is expected to be achieved in the future.

The purpose of this study is to identify how much tourism-and hospitality-related academic professionals have contributed to their fields in recent years and to apply an authorship analysis following Sheldon's work to reconfirm her observation that full professors contribute more to academic professional journals more than authors with lower academic ranks. Our analyses of research productivity showed that tourism and hospitality (TH) academicians published more than non-TH professionals in some Social Science Citation Index (SSCI)-listed TH journals and that experienced scholars were more productive than novice professionals in other SSCI-registered TH journals. By conducting not only an authorship analysis in the senior TH-related journals but also a research productivity analysis of TH versus non-TH professionals and English-speaking (ES) versus non-ES researchers, in particular, the results of this study provide helpful information to young journals such as Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Management to be a high-quality academic journal across varied disciplinary boundaries and to collect extensive opinions from elder TH journals.
