“…Main theme articles included research that focused only on the transformative process of tourism, whereas articles classified as having secondary topics related to the transformation process in tourism, met one of the following criteria: (a) the transformation process in tourism was highlighted as one of the outcomes or motivations of the main topic that was not initially thought to be related to transformative tourism; (b) the transformation process in tourism was mentioned or joined to other topics discussed in the article, thus forming connections with other domains.
