The research aims to determine the factors causing the low achievement of environmental sustainability in tourist villages and accelerate it. This study uses a desk research method with online data and information search techniques, secondary sources, and other scientific publications. Meanwhile, the analysis technique used is a descriptive qualitative analysis technique, analogy, and comparison of several research results and other scientific publications related to environmental sustainability in tourism villages through the local wisdom approach and digital transformation. The research was conducted by interviewing several sources to get input on ecological sustainability standards in Tourism Villages. The result shows that the standards used to measure environmental sustainability in tourist villages can be used because of the global nature of the standards. Tourism Villages have local wisdom that has become part of the community's life. This local wisdom is very likely to have encouraged the tourism village community to behave environmentally friendly. Local wisdom becomes the focal point and main attraction of a tourist village that can be disseminated to villagers and tourists. The results of the study suggest the optimal way in which sustainable environmental development in the village can occur.

Ecotourism is a sustainable and responsible form of travel that promotes conservation, benefits local communities, and provides travelers with a unique and educational experience in natural environments. Although some tourism researchers have used the MOA model to study factors influencing community participation, there is still a scarcity of literature that can provide sufficient empirical support to prove the MOA model's predictive power for examining community participation in the tourism context. Especially in the context of nature tourism. Seeing this gap, the purpose of this research is to determine the impact of sustainable ecotourism on community participation using the MOA model.. This research was conducted in Cikolelet Tourism Village. There were participants whose information was examined by researchers, namely the head of the Cikolelet Tourism Village Pokdarwis and the Village Head and members of the Pokdarwis. The Indonesian government is serious about promoting tourism as a leading industry until COVID-19 outbreak have a huge impact on the tourism industry. Research on risk perceptions in pandemic-affected destinations is required to influence tourists in making decisions also the destination image. Thus, this study aims to examine the Travel Risk Perception on Visit Decision to an Island Tourism Destination in The New Normal. Ninety data was collected using Google Form with purposive sampling technique and analyzed using PLS-SEM. The result shows that Health Risk and Socio-psychological Risk have a direct and indirect influence through Destination Image on the Visit Decision. Financial Risk has a direct and indirect influence through Destination Image (Affective Image), whereas no indirect influence through Cognitive Image on Visit Decision. Lastly, the result of Destination Image both Cognitive and Affective Image influence Visit Decision. The study proved that perceived risk and destination image are essential for opening tourism areas in the new normal condition.
