Abstract:This article presents a review of the current literature on the problem of omission and prolapse of the internal genitalia in women. Patients diagnosed with pelvic organ prolapse need pelvic floor plastic surgery. Currently, in spite of the extensive experience in managing this category of patients, there is still no single and unambiguous approach to the choice of surgical treatment tactics.
