Tooth-flux distribution in slotted solid iron rotors

Abstract: Varley loop determinations are subject to inaccuracy where the insulation resistance of the good wire is not considerably greater than that of the faulty wire. Two factors contribute to the error, one of which can be allowed for in Behrend's test or in the double Varley loop.
