Abstract:Tonometric continuous measurement of arterial pressure becomes feasible using a cellular polypropylene (Cellular PP) film sensor. A pulsatile arterial vascular phantom model was used to find the range of optimal tonometric conditions and the responsiveness to dynamic pressure changes.
