To the question of peculiarities of thermal activation of natural siliceous raw material

Abstract: Abstract. The results of research of activity enhancement of natural siliceous raw material are given in the article. Fossil meal of Khotynetsky deposit, diatomite of Sharlovsky deposit, silica clay of Balasheika deposit were used as natural active mineral admixtures. The influence of heattreating temperature and dispersion on activity of different types of siliceous raw material is studied. The increase of activity of fixation of Са(ОН) 2 in several times is traced after heat-treating at a certain temperature … Show more

“…Such raw materials are mainly applied in expanded and clinker aggregates production for the construction industry. Herein, the type of the aggregate and the choice of its production technology are determined by the composition and the amount of impurities, as well as, the rock hardness [2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]. Soft representatives in the form of diatomites and clay diatomites are used to produce expanded aggregates by plastic technology.…”
