To enhance mechanical properties of parts produced from AlSi10Mg powder with use of SLS/SLM methods by densification of the product surface layer

Abstract: W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badań mających na celu poprawę właściwości mechanicznych elementów wykonanych ze stopu AlSi10Mg metodami selektywnego spiekania/ /topienia laserowego (SLS/SLM). Show more

“…According to Table 5, it can be seen that on the front roughness of the specimen, the order of the size of the influence is scanning speed > scanning distance > laser power > paving powder layer thickness; the optimal combination of the four process parameters is laser power of 300 W, scanning speed of 1250 mm/s, scanning distance of 0.09 mm, paving powder layer thickness of 0.05 mm. Densification is not only an important index for assessing the quality of SLM-molded parts, but also a prerequisite and basis for certain mechanical properties of molded parts [28].…”
