Tissue factor upregulation drives a thrombosis–inflammation circuit in relation to cardiovascular complications

Abstract: The extrinsic coagulation is recognized as an 'inducible' signalling cascade resulting from tissue factor (TF) upregulation by exposure to clotting zymogen FVII upon inflammation or tissue injury.
