Dette understøttes af det faktum, at når stammen opstår hos voksne, så er det oftest som konsekvens af skader på disse baner, mens primaere sprogområder, såsom Brocas område, planum temporale, insula og Wernickes område normalt ikke findes ramt (Ludlow/Loucks 2003).…”
