Three loop form factors of a massive spin-2 particle with nonuniversal coupling

Abstract: We investigate the interaction of spin-2 fields with those of the Standard Model in a model independent framework. We have considered interactions where the spin-2 fields couple to two sets of gauge invariant tensorial operators that are not conserved unlike the energy momentum tensor with different coupling strengths. Such interactions not only change the ultraviolet behaviour of the couplings but also expand the scope of the searches of spin-2 particles at the colliders. We present all the relevant renormali… Show more

“…The conjecture is found to hold true for two-point FFs to three-loops level [11]; more specifically, the HT pieces of quark and gluon FFs in QCD [26] are identical, up to a normalization factor of 2 L , to scalar FFs of the operator O BPS rt in N ¼ 4 sYM upon changing the representation of fermions in QCD from fundamental to adjoint. The diagonal elements of the twopoint pseudoscalar [27] and tensorial FFs [28,29] also obey the conjecture. The three-point scalar and pseudoscalar FFs are also found to respect the PMT [12,22,[30][31][32][33][34][35][36].…”

“…In the present context, it is worth mentioning earlier works on the two loop three point FF computations for the scattering cross section e + e − → 3 jets [87], Higgs decays H → g + g + g and H → g + q +q in [88,89]. Decays of a massive spin-2 resonance to 3 gluons as well as fermion anti-fermion and a gluon can be found in [90,91] and some other works [92,93]. Computation of the production of massive spin 1 bosons at two loop level in QCD can be found in the literature [94].…”

“…Recently, the UV structure of non-universal coupling up to three loop order in QCD was investigated [11] where in the spin-2 fields couple to two sets of gauge invariant tensorial operators constructed out of the SM fields (with different coupling strengths). These rank-2 operators are unfortunately not conserved, unlike energy-momentum tensor of QCD [12].…”
