Administrators must think strategically about the organizational structure of LGBTQ+ support resources to ensure that there is effective collaboration around resources for LGBTQ+ students, so these resources are not campus silos that further present challenges for LGBTQ+ students to find mentorship, support, and collaborations.• An institutional approach to LGBTQ+ student support should be grounded in knowledge of the overall history of student organizing-especially Black student organizing and the origins of EDI campus initiatives-and also ensure equity metrics and outcome data are guiding affirmative approaches to supporting LGBTQ+ students across diverse identities (e.g., race/ethnicity, gender, social class, disability, citizenship status).• A Top 10 list of institutionalized LGBTQ+ support strategies is provided to frame institutional commitment to important areas of LGBTQ+ awarenessknowledge-skills-action necessary for administrators, faculty, staff, and students to have, as well as to inform strategic planning and resource assignment to ensure ongoing support for LGBTQ+ students.This chapter explores the institutional university issues that contribute to minority stress for LGBTQ+ students, as well as the practices, strategies, and interventions that higher education professionals should investigate or
