Therapy with adjunctive doxycycline local delivery in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus and periodontitis

Abstract: These findings suggest that subgingivally delivered doxycycline hyclate produces additional favorable clinical results to periodontal therapy in type 1 DM patients.
