Abstract:This case study describes the use of additive manufacturing technology combining a biodegradable polymer material, polycaprolactone (PCL), and innovative procedures for creating superficial wound dressing, a scaffold in the therapy of extensive contaminated skin defects caused by a traumatic injury.
