Therapeutic Potential of Angiostatin in Diabetic Nephropathy

Abstract: Angiostatin is a proteolytic fragment of plasminogen and a potent angiogenic inhibitor. Previous studies have shown that angiostatin inhibits retinal neovascularization and reduces retinal vascular permeability in diabetic retinopathy.
