Theoretical Substantiation of the Ion of Cobalt (II) Adsorption on the Inorganic Sorbents

Abstract

The ion adsorption of cobalt (2+) on the oxide sorbents with different concentrations of the ions of Co 2+ and pH has been experimentally studied. The acid-base model of adsorption, which makes it possible to optimize the technological regimes of the adsorption of Co 2+ on the inorganic sorbents (Co 2 O 3 , TiO 2 , Fe 2 O 3 , Fe 3 O 4 , SiO 2 and other) has been proposed. The special feature of model is calculation the double electrical layer (DEL) at the oxide-solution border. Keywords: double electrical layer, acid-base model, the ion adsorption of cobaltI.
