Today, the problem of corruption around the world is recognized by multidimensional and multilevel researchers. The article discusses the results of the conducted research of the problems of the conflict of interests settlement as one of the main ways of counteracting corruption in the system of public administration in Russia and in Mongolia. The analysis of the obtained information from the statistical reporting speaks about a stable tendency of growth of corruption criminality. During the survey, the authors interviewed 56 employees of the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Mongolia and 28 civil servants of Mongolia, as well as 64 employees of the internal affairs bodies of Russia. In general, various socio-psychological sources testify to the insufficiently effective activity in Mongolia and Russia to counteract corruption.
