“…In addition, the Decision Space Worksheet (Peterson, Leasure, Carr, & Lenz, 2009–2010), a projective assessment, could be used to elicit elements in the social and emotional context out of which the presenting career problem arises. In career and mental health services where there is qualified professional assistance available, the use of a comprehensive personality measure such as the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI)-2 [Hathaway & McKinley, 1942] or the Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI) [Morey, 1991] could provide an assessment of general personal and social adjustment (Lenz et al, 2010; Peterson & Githens, 1990).
