The purpose of this study is to find out whether or not Kahoot improves students' grammar. This research used quantitative methods). The population of this study was the eleventh-grade students of SMA Insan Cendekia Syech Yusuf, using cluster random sampling technique selects 40 students as the sample of this study. To obtain the required data, it used grammar tests. Its results showed that Kahoot is effective in helping the students improve their grammar by some criteria. 1. The N-gained score of the experimental class (53.14) was higher than the N-gain score of the control class (49.26). 2. Based on the criteria for achieving learning objectives (KKTP), the percentage of students in the experimental class who obtained scores above 75 was 100%, while it was 89% in the control class. Finally, the hypothesis testing pointed out that t-test value > t-table shows that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected and meaning that Kahoot is effective in improving students' grammar. Based on those results, it is considerable that the use of Kahoot effectively gave significant results in the grammar improvement of the students at SMA Insan Cendekia Syech Yusuf.

This research was conducted to reveal the description of teaching vocabulary using kahoot! Application through online learning and students’ vocabulary mastery after learning using kahoot! application. It used mixed method which was conducted to 20 students of State Vocational School of Salatiga who joined English Club Program. The researchers used test and observation to get the data. Based on observation result, it is seen that teacher prepared the teaching activity well which was seen from the implementation of teaching vocabulary using kahoot! Application could run as planned. Teacher used zoom application to communicate and interact with students in applying the game in teaching activity. Students are challenged and motivated to fill the game and raced to be the winner. After conducting the test, the researchers calculated the score and found the mean score of each test. The mean score of students’ pre-test is 36 and the mean score of post-test is 84. Based on the research result, the researchers could say that learning while playing could make students more relax to absorb the material and improve their vocabulary mastery as its effect. Kahoot application could be used as one of learning media while implementing teaching through distance learning.

Newly, during learning and teaching process is nearly related to the using of technology. Moreover, learning style is more oriented and being the primary for students' understanding to the material as well. Furthermore, teachers enhance to design creativity learning by arresting students' motivation and enthusiasm. Mostly, students become bored with the conventional method. Therefore, teachers should be challenged to be more imaginative in modifying learning method. In the case, there are several studies convey that Kahoot being the solution of learning style creativity. Kahoot was a game-based learning platform which commonly used in learning activity especially English learning. The used of Kahoot in learning English showed positive effect such in improving students' motivation. This article showed a literature review about Kahoot used in grammar learning. The research method used in this article was systematic literature review from articles and journals about the use of Kahoot in grammar learning included tenses and Kahoot to improving student’s motivation in learning. According to 55 journals and articles collected period are around 2016 to 2021, we found 20 articles related to this research. The data found showed that the used of Kahoot can improving students' motivation and interest in learning grammar although there was still weakness founded in connection and technique.
