“…Anabtawi et al published a case series of 10 patients using interlocking PEEK implants to correct facial deformities, 4 of which involved the orbitomaxillary complex. 11 However, it is important to note that the reported cases were posttraumatic injuries that resulted in contour depressions, not iatrogenic full thickness defects.
