The therapeutic use of progestational steroids

Abstract: Although the progestins in common play an integral role in the endogenous synthesis of all steroids, precise definition of what a progestin is is nonetheless difficult, since the progestational steroids are ubiquitous steroids of multiple sources in the body and have many different effects and facets of action.
