The Tanah-Air Concept and Indonesia’s Maritime Nation Aspiration

Abstract: This article analyses the Tanah-Air (Unity of Land-Water) concept conceived by Indonesian founding fathers during its independence period and its centrality in shaping the nation’s maritime outlook.
