The synthesis and characterization of a group of transition metal octabutoxynaphthalocyanines and the absorption and emission properties of the Co, Rh, Ir, Ni, Pd and Pt members of this group

Abstract: The synthesis and photophysical properties of new metallo-octabutoxynaphthalocyanines with Rh(III), Ir(III), and Pt(II) are reported. Various metals were inserted into the metal-free octabutoxynaphthalocyanine and the resultant metal complexes were fully characterized by NMR, UV-vis spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry.
