The specifics of production scheduling in process industries

Abstract: Process manufacturing has some characteristics that makes it different from other types of industry. These specifics are reflected in the design of a process factory management system. This paper stresses some features of process manufacturing that have to he taken into account during the implementation of a production scheduling system.
