luKoVics miKlós-udVari beáta-zuti bence-Kézy béla az önvezető autók és a felelősségteljes innováció Napjaink uralkodó globális megatrendje, a digitalizáció figyelemre méltó megoldásokkal kívánja az emberiség életét megkönnyíteni. Ezek közül is kiemelkednek az önvezető autók, amelyeket a szakirodalom a radikális innovációk közé sorol, utalva arra, hogy az önvezető autók tömeges elterjedése nemcsak az emberiség mindennapi életét, de-többek között-a városok szerkezetét és a közlekedés számos jellemzőjét is gyökeresen megváltoztatja. Az önvezető autók fejlesztése az utolsó tesztfázisban van: jelenleg már 76 város közútjain, az utcai forgalomban végzik a technológia utolsó simításait. E radikális innováció azonban megosztja a közvéleményt, aminek leginkább az az oka, hogy az önvezető járművek a megbízhatóságukon túl számos-társadalmi, etikai, környezeti és gazdasági-kérdést vetnek fel, amelyekre jelenleg még nincsenek válaszok. E tanulmány célja, hogy feltárja e témakör leginkább vitatott kihívásait, amelyek jelenlegi ismereteink szerint extrém módon fogják felforgatni minden civilizációban élő ember napi életvitelét. Az önvezető autók kérdéskörét a felelősségteljes innováció keretrendszerébe ágyazzuk, amelynek segítségével a feltárt kihívások kezelhetők. Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) kód: O14, O18, O33. napjaink meghatározó jelensége a negyedik ipari forradalom, amely az infokommunikációs technológián alapuló rendszerek és hálózatok szerepét hangsúlyozó folyamat (Kovács [2017a]), amely akár a globális munkamegosztást is átalakíthatja (Lengyel és szerzőtársai [2016]). az ipar 4.0 alapját a széles körben elterjedt és hozzáférhető internet, a mesterséges intelligencia és a gépi tanulás, valamint a zöldenergia adják. főbb meghatározó elemei pedig fizikai (önvezető autók, 3d nyomtatás, fejlett robotok), digitális ("dolgok internete") vagy biológiai (géntechnológia) tényezők lehetnek (Kuruczleki és szerzőtársai [2016], Prisecaru [2016]). e globális, az élet legtöbb szegmensét érintő, gyors ütemű változásra mint komoly potenciált

The concept of mutual responsiveness is currently based on little empirical data in the literature of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI). This paper explores RRI’s idea of mutual responsiveness in the light of recent RRI case studies on private sector research and development (R&D). In RRI, responsible innovation is understood as a joint endeavour of innovators and societal stakeholders, who become mutually responsive to each other in defining the ‘right impacts’ of the innovation in society, and in steering the innovation towards realising those impacts. Yet, the case studies identified several reasons for why the idea of mutual responsiveness does not always appear feasible or desirable in actual R&D situations. Inspired by the discrepancies between theory and practice, we suggest three further elaborations for the concept of responsiveness in RRI. Process-responsiveness is suggested for identifying situations that require stakeholder involvement specifically during R&D. Product-responsiveness is suggested for mobilising the potential of innovation products to be adaptable according to diverse stakeholder needs. Presponsiveness is suggested as responsiveness towards stakeholders that are not (yet) reachable at a given time of R&D. Our aim is to contribute to a more tangible understanding of responsiveness in RRI, and suggest directions for further analysis in upcoming RRI case studies.

“…In their discussion of socially responsible innovation (SRI) and its links to industrial R&D and academic applied research, Flipse et al acknowledge that the nature and purpose of academic and industrial research have changed “to demonstrate social or environmental responsibility to contribute to a more positive corporate image.” We wish the authors had focused more on that last word, “image,” for it is an admission of the theatrical play being acted out in today's academic and industrial research to conceal the true nature of SRI. Any ensuing discussion about establishing mutual understanding and common language between the social and the natural sciences to “efficiently work together” misses the heart of the issue: how political forces change the nature and purpose of research, and how it similarly changes the role of social scientists and humanists.…”
