O objetivo do estudo foi refletir sobre as competências gerenciais do enfermeiro preceptor em rede básica de saúde no processo de ensino- aprendizagem. A metodologia baseou-se na reflexão do tema abordado, utilizando leis, decretos quefalem sobre a formação dos enfermeiros e da preceptoria e artigos, dissertações e teses publicados entre 2014 a 2018, que discutam as competências do preceptor. A partir destas reflexões, pode-se observar o valor que tem o preceptor, seu papel naformação do discente, que não se limita somente ao preceptor, mas alcança toda a classe por ele representada sendo fortalecida por enfermeiros cada vez mais competentes. Contudo, esta reflexão, através dos trabalhos analisados, revelou a necessidade da aproximação do preceptor com a instituição de ensino a fim de reconhecer-se como coautor na relação de ensino-aprendizagem dos futuros profissionais.

Lifelong education for dietitians in Japan is based mainly on competencies according to years of experience. Because learning content differs depending on the desired position and specialty, training programs that reflect the individual learning needs of public health dietitians are needed. This study aimed to assess the individual learning needs of public health dietitians via years of experience in health promotion. In 2021, an online survey of public health dietitians involved in health promotion in prefectures, designated cities, and other municipalities throughout Japan was conducted. Years of experience in health promotion were categorized as early (<10 years), mid-career (10–19 years), and leadership (≥20 years) periods. To ascertain individual learning needs, the survey asked about respondents’ desired final position, career path, and skills they felt they needed to improve in the future. Of the 1649 public health dietitians analyzed, all administrative categories preferred to work as public health generalists in mid-career or leadership periods rather than in the early period. In municipalities, more public health dietitians across all experience categories selected “professional competence”, such as knowledge in specialized areas and nutritional guidance techniques. It was suggested that public health dietitians in the mid-career and leadership periods have individual learning needs, in both nutrition specialists and public health generalists.

It is extremely difficult to apply the model learned in basic education for public health nurses (PHNs) to conduct community health assessments. The purpose of this study was to clarify the process by which community health needs can be structured through PHNs' daily practice. Methods: Semistructured interviews were conducted in 29 PHNs, and continuous comparative analysis using a qualitative study was performed with a modified grounded theory approach. Results: The participants "used their five senses to understand the relationship between the health and life of people" and "considered those who do not attend" by "learning from stakeholders." To verify such subjective feelings sourced from vague phenomena within the communities, subjective phenomena were converted into qualitative data. Conclusion: The application of the findings to organizational continuous education systems may not only help appropriately improve community health assessment methods but can also help improve the evaluation of daily practice and contribute to professional human-resource development.
