The role of mediating factors involved in angiogenesis during implantation

Abstract: Angiogenesis is a critical component of normal implantation and placentation and underlines the importance of vascularization in early pregnancy. Differentiated expression of angiogenesis factors in different decision tissues during different stages of implantation, indicates their involvement in the regulation of vascular remodeling and angiogenesis. Disorders in vascular development may play a role in the pathogenesis of recurrent abortions. The success of implantation, placentation and subsequent pregnancy … Show more

“…But we believe that the presence of syncytial knots, intravillous microcalcifications, and placental infarction over 5%, may cause the development of a IUGR and likely trigger PB. With these results, we are consistent with other studies [ 36 , 37 ]. With the help of PAS-H staining, we highlighted the intra/extravillous vascular basement membranes, but especially the massive fibrin deposits present, rich in glycosaminoglycans.…”

“…Furthermore, the addition of these cytokines to the culture medium has increased the blastulation rate by stimulating cell division and survival rate after cryopreservation by enhancing the resistance to thermal shock ( Stoecklein et al, 2021 ). Their action seems to be synergistic because their combination in a culture medium improves the embryo number by increasing the cell number and embryo quality ( Boldeanu et al, 2020 ).…”

“…The immune response is affected in anesthesia by inhibiting/releasing cytokines that can affect the inflammatory response, along with the body’s metabolic and immune response to surgical stress, influencing the profile of inflammatory factors and especially of cytokines [ 12 , 33 , 34 , 35 ].…”
